5-days desert tour departing from Marrakech and ending in Marrakech

Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains you will then visit the world heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, which has also been the movie set for many famous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander the Great. After lunch we will enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments of Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate, we keep driving to Skoura and the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual festival of roses. We will also pass through the Berber villages of Kelaa M'Gouna and Boumalene Dades where we will spend the night.

Today's destination point is to reach Merzouga which is known for the highest dunes in Morocco. The desert! It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert, and it is about 40 km long and 10 km wide, and it is a unique and multifaceted environment. On our way, we will have the opportunity to see many oases and the famous valley of Toudra with its fascinating panoramas and Canyon there we go for a 15 minutes walk. We will continue our tour passing through the small Berber villages of Mellab and Touroug. Arrive at Rissani, where we will have lunch. After this break, we will continue our journey enjoying the green palm valley of Ziz-Tafilalet and the black Hamada desert before reaching Merzouga. Later we can enjoy a swim in the warm waters, in addition to having a local dinner and listening to Berber music. The night in a hotel.

After breakfast, go all the way around the dunes through Merzouga oasis, the nomadic repository, Khamlia village black sub-Saharan people's village, or the Gnawa village, originally slaves brought from the south. there you experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away is lake Serji, an immigration pose of emigrant birds. Later drive to Rissani Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu, for a visit of the local souk of specialties, vegetables and cloth, animals and local products. After lunch with local pizza in Rissani you travel back to the hotel where your camels are waiting. After a glass of mint tea, prepare to start the camel ride to make our way through sand dunes in a 90-minute camel ride that will take us to a Berber camp in the middle of the Erg of dunes, a camp of several comfortable Berber tents, equipped with mattresses, and restaurant. A topical dinner followed by entertainment provided by the Berber drummers.

Before sunrise, wake up to climb the sand dunes for fantastic photo opportunities. Next, we will make our way back to the hotel for showers and breakfast before keeping on our journey to Ouarzazate, passing through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we will settle outside of Marrakech, passing through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi 'n' Tichka (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakech.
