5 days tour from Tangier to Casablanca via Fes & Rabat

We start with a nice drive through the Rif Mountains and through the city of Tetouan. To fully enjoy the stunning view of the landscape, we will stop to rest at the Perl of Rif mountains and North, in Chefchaouan. Chefchaouen Medina has a strong influence on Morish Andalusian architecture, it was once part of the Spanish colony in the first fifties of the twentieth century. its center square is a funky handmade shop full of colors and nice traditional clothes and furniture. It is also home to many restaurants and rooftop coffee shops, where you can enjoy the rest of the night with a nice breeze and a wonderful active spot, after exploring the nice labyrinth of blue-washed streets, the water springs, and the panoramic view. After a tasty breakfast, our trip continues to Volubilis, crossing Ouazan and other nice villages. In Volubilis, we will explore the Roman ruins and we will learn about Moroccan history of the old-time BC. Continuing towards Meknes, we will stop to have lunch and explore the historical walls of the medieval Medina along with the gate Bab El Mansour, and a visit to the Moulay Ismail Shrine. Later in the afternoon, we will drive farther to our last destination, to Fez where we will spend the night.

We will start, after meeting the guide at the lobby of the hotel, exploring the oldest city in Morocco, touring its alleys and narrow streets. We will begin to see the site at the Gate of the Royal Palace, followed by the Jewish Headquarter where the Mellah which is still standing well maintained, with its synagogue, that is always alive in Morocco, since the sixteenth century. We will make sure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous University Al Karaouine, the oldest university in the world. We will also visit the tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit many different cooperatives and experience a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez.

Fes consists of three different parts, FES (UNESCO World Heritage Site) the oldest of the four imperial cities, that we will abandon today in direction west to the Atlantic coast to Rabat it is the official capital of the country; we are invited to visit the Kasbah Oudayas, the shrine of Mohammed V and Chala necropolis, later at the afternoon drive to the economical capital, Overnight in Casablanca.

Today we will visit the famous Hassan II mosque, and leave Casablanca to the north towards Asilah, a small fortified city, from the 16th century, that the Portuguese found as a small port, a visit to this site is calling. Later we head to Tangier, where we will finish our tour.
