5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga

Our driver will pick you up at 8 am from your accommodation in Tangier and drive you to the city of Fez; Morocco's cultural capital passing through the Rif Mountains and a few small towns, where people dedicate to agriculture, Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco known for white-blue washed buildings and winding little streets in a Morish Andalusian style of architecture there we go for a visit of couple hours before we drive farther south to the historical city, Fez; where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, today you will be guided to Fez, the historical and cultural city, it is the largest and best-preserved medieval Islamic city in the world. In the morning, an official guide from the Tourist Office will be waiting to take you on a guided tour. You will see many historical sites UNESCO world heritage. You will learn a lot about Andalusia and Moroccan history by visiting the Andalous Mosque. You will visit the tanneries to discover how animal skins turn into high-quality leather in different colors. You will have lunch in a restaurant in Fez. After this, an activity-packed trip, you will leave Fes driving south to cross middle Atlas and get to Midelt. Overnight in Midelt.

After breakfast, We will continue our desert tour to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We will drive through many beautiful and amazing valleys, and towns. The high Atlas Mountains, the Ziz Valley, panoramic views, and beautiful landscapes where you will have some memorable photos that will make your desert tour unforgettable, Erfoud, and Rissani. When we arrive in Merzouga, we will take a break in a hotel with mint tea, then we will prepare for an amazing camel trip to Sahara sand dunes. Upon reaching the best desert dunes of Merzouga, you will be amazed by the sunset between sand dunes, then we will continue our way to a nomadic desert camp, where we will spend the night and have dinner. We will enjoy drams music around the fireplace of the camp. Overnight in the camp.

Since we are in the Sahara desert, we will get up early to see and enjoy the sunrise on the top of sand dunes around the Camp, Then ride camels back to the hotel in Merzouga. After a traditional breakfast and a fresh shower, we continue our way to the city of Marrakech through Toudra oasis and Dades gorges. We will cross some Berber towns, we will drive through Toudra gorges, where we will have a walk along the river and explore the impressive gorges of Toudra, which is an ideal place for rock climbers with its high mountains that reach 300 m altitude. Lunch will be served in the Toudra valley. In the afternoon we drive to Dades Valley, another amazing place to see in the country with its fabulous nature and wonderful landscapes. We will spend the night in Dades.

After breakfast we keep driving along Dades valley towards Ouarzazate; Hollywood of Morocco, where so many movies have been made. We will visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou; one of the most popular UNESCO world heritage sites in Morocco, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, passing the High Atlas mountain and the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, where we will do some stops to rest and take some memorable photos on top of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech we drop you in the nearest parking to your accommodation.
