Our Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes - Fez

On the first day of our trip, we visit Casablanca's main attraction Hassan II mosque the jewel of architecture in Morocco. On the road to Fez, we drive through a beautiful stretch of farmland where olives, grains, vegetables, and grapes are harvested. Before arriving in Fez, we will visit Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is the view of the famous Roman ruins that remain from the southernmost outpost of the Roman Empire. Meknes is a city founded by Moulay Ismail in the 17th century, which has many historical monuments like The Madrasa BouInania, Bab Mansour, the gateway to the Moulay Ismail Palace, the granaries, and the water reservoir, also Henri es-Souani, the horse stable. Upstairs is a rooftop garden and cafe with a great view of the city. Later we keep on the road, arrive in Fez, check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Fez

After breakfast, we start our visit to "the oldest Medina in the world" with a local tour guide. We will visit the Medina with its souks, stopping at the gate of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque, and the University. We will also visit the tomb of the founder of the city "Moulay Idriss II". Lunch will take place in one of the traditional restaurants of the old Medina. After lunch, we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop for a panoramic view of the city.

Day 3: Fez - Ifrane - Merzouga Desert

In the morning we drive to the mountains, to a region known as the Switzerland of the country Ifrane, which is covered by cedar, juniper, and cork oak forests. The area is known for having abundant wildlife and we can see many types of birds, wild apes macaques, on our way while driving. The trail crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we will be able to see the slopes dotted with tents and herds of nomadic Berber goats that call this rugged region home. After lunch halfway, keeping on mountain trails overlooking the river Oued Ziz. Passing Kasbahs and palm groves, we pass through the adobe city Erfoud the capital of fossils and dates, we arrive in the late afternoon at Merzouga, a city on the feet of the Sahara desert sand dunes. where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Desert area - Camel ride

In the morning, we begin our tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes with a visit to a Berber house and listen to Gnawa music; originally from Sudan. Visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads, and palm oases. We will have lunch in one of the local restaurants. After relaxing for a while we will go to the camel place to go on a ride of adventure in the sand dunes, to admire a nice sunset. We will spend the night in a camp. Dine while listening to drum music in the middle of the Sahara, which is a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of sunset and sunrise, and start watching. When we arrive at the camp, we climb the high dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night in nomadic tents.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate

After seeing the sunrise we ride back to the meeting point. We will have the opportunity to take a shower and have a delicious breakfast before we go on our journey to Ouarzazate. Driving through the famous Toudra canyon, and both valleys Dade's and Rose. Along the way, we visit Berber villages where you can do some shopping for little souvenirs such as fossils, rugs, lamps, leather... We arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning, we will have an opportunity to visit Ait Ben Haddou used as a site scenario for many famous movies, it is also a world heritage site. This famous 11th-century kasbah was used as the backdrop for more than 20 movies, including the famous Gladiator. After lunch, we will start our journey heading to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 M)and arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
